Reducing our Environmental Impact.

No foreign holiday can truly claim to be environmentally friendly, but just so you know, we have taken many steps to reduce our environmental impact. For example we have our hot water solar heated, ambient winter heating is provided from wood burning stoves using cuttings from trees at the villa, La Mexicana itself is built where possible using resources from our land (or at least sourced locally) and last but not least we have planted over 600 trees of varying species during the last 20 years following the Junta de Andalucia “Disarollo Sostenible” program. This supports wildlife and of course captures tons of Co2.
