Accommodation at Villa Mexicana.
General:
The villa is located 3km from Torrox pueblo and 5km from the beach. It is reached by a good (winding) country road which connects directly with the coastal motorway. On reaching the villa you have a large secure private parking area for up to six cars. The villa is set within grounds of two acres and is itself surrounded by walls for further privacy.
Pool, Terrace and walled area around the Villa:
This is the area where most time is spent enjoying the veiws, the 8x3m pool and the outside dining area. There are sunloungers for 4, outside dining area for 6-8 and plenty of shaded areas for reading dozing etc. From the terrace you can also listen to our music system which has an extensive music collection to please different tastes (classical, pop, rock, country etc) or bring your own "chill out" favorites. Around the terrace there are small flower gardens where you can find a small herb area with fresh mint(eg tea, mojitos!), basel, Tyme, Rosemary, Tyme, and lemons (for Gin and Tonic etc!). The villa has fresh fruit year round and we will be glad to advise on picking your own fruit of the season.
Living/dining Room:
Pretty and colorful rustic decoration, light and airy lounge accommodating 6 guests when relaxing or dining. Fabulous views to the pool mountains and sea. The sitting room seats 8 and has 20" flatscreen TV (with full range of English/Sports channels) DVD/MP3/CD player Books, games and good selection of DVDs. In the dining room is a Stereo system. There is ollection of music and USB connection for music of your own choice.
Decorated in simple Andalucian style this room has views accross the car park and entrance to the mountains beyond. A quite room facing west. Double bed with winter and summer bedding, adjacent to the large family bathroom. Window shutters and Mosquito screens. Cool room fans provided.
Large family bathroom
Tiled throughout has a large bathtub/shower, a bidet, hand bason etc. Rustic style.
Second bedroom:
Two single beds. Andalucian style this room has views across the car park and entrance to the mountains beyond. A quite room facing west. Double bed with winter and summer bedding, ajacent to the large family bathroom. Window shutters and Mosquito screens. Cool room fans when required.
Third bedroom:
Colourfully decorated, this room has views accross the terrace and pool to the countryside and sea beyond. A quite room facing south. Double bed with winter and summer bedding, adjacent to the large family bathroom. Window shutters and Mosquito screens. Fans available when required.
Kitchen:
Rustic traditional Andalucian kitchen, equipped with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freazer, toaster,blender, kettle, coffee making facilities, all pots pans cutlery for six to eight. Stocked with oils/condiments, tea and coffee, kitchen roll etc. Tap water is supplied from a well taken from high up the sierras, perfect fresh water as good as bottled! The kitchen adjoins the lounge dining area and has windows to the rear and main living space. A pleasant authentic feel to this area. Light and airy with everthing you need without being over complicated.
2nd Bathroom:
Rustic tiling and quarry tile floor. This room has washing machine, Shower, toilet, and washbasin. Smaller than the main bathroom and with windows to the rear of the property this bathroom is entered from the main living area.
